ED: The Introduction
Having seen haircut sites emerge and dissipate over the years, this blog is intended to counter their vanishing tendency through reproducing work where original has been lost. But as I am a thorough egotist, it will also include some original pieces by me. However it is not intended to replicate or compete with other collections of haircutting stories (see the links).
Some, probably many, of the stories will contain language and themes not suitable for all audiences; if you suspect this is the case, look away now (or carry on reading whilst pretending you never do such a thing).
I will provide full attribution of externally source stories wherever possible. If you have any comments, requests or queries, please contact me using the details in the side bar.
As I expect the site to be slowly evolving, with minimal maintenance requirements, comments at present are disabled, if only to bar the ever present spammers. But speaking of crass commercialisation, this site may carry advertising at some point, probably as an experiment to see how Adsense works and if it is worth using elsewhere. But it is not my intent to profit from the works of others, so this stance may be reviewed.
A final note: I will use a code in the title of each post to indicate the contents, allowing those using RSS or similar to differentiate between types of post. Posts started with "ED" will be comments from me about the blog or related items. Anything labelled "ST" will be a haircutting story, with further following codes to allow grouping of stories.
Hope that's all clear; I'll get on with it now.
